Project Description

The Gombe State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON, has initiated the procurement and installation of solar powered street lighting system at Gwani ward, Yamaltu Deba Local Government Area. The development of solar streetlights is aimed at addressing the challenges of inadequate street lighting in these areas while also reducing dependence on the national power grid and reduce the tendency of theft. In line with its developmental objectives to improve infrastructure, enhance community safety, and promote the use of renewable energy, The project utilizes environmentally friendly solar technology, which ensures energy efficiency, cost savings, and minimal maintenance requirements.
