In a bid to ensure sustainable and uninterrupted access to clean and portable water for residents of Gombe and its environs, His Excellency, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON, approved the award of the contract for the operation and maintenance of the Dadin-Kowa Water Supply Scheme. The initiative is aimed at improving the efficiency and reliability of water supply by engaging qualified professionals to manage, operate, and maintain the entire water treatment and distribution system. The scope of the contract includes routine operations, preventive maintenance of key infrastructure, timely repairs, and quality assurance in line with health and safety standards. Under the leadership of the Governor, this project underscores the administration's commitment to enhancing public welfare through sustainable infrastructure and improved access to essential services such as clean water.
