Project Description

In a visionary step toward preserving public sanctity and promoting urban order, The Gombe State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, Alh .Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON, initiated the fencing and expansion of the old graveyard along Gombe-Bajoga road. This project is designed to provide a safe, secure, and well-organized resting place for the departed. Further expansion was provided in order to create additional space to serve the growing population, improve aesthetic appeal and accessibility, reinforce religious and cultural values tied to burial traditions. The scope of the project includes: 1. Full perimeter fencing for security and boundary definition. 2. Land expansion and clearing for new plots. 3. Layout planning to improve organization and navigation. The intended impact of this project is to restore dignity and respect to a sacred site, promoting environmental cleanliness and public health, supporting community needs with foresight and compassion.
